Diagnostic Programs.
As soon as I started this program up I was impressed my easy to use and good looking layout that was presented to me. So the program is the typical diagnostic program. It contains the system cleaners and optimizers, which are very easy to use. The system cleaner is divided into three sections which are System and Disk cleaner, Registry cleaner and Start up and Auto run Manager. When you scan you are giving many options which are nicely explained on what they which would make using by unexperienced people easy. As with many diagnostic tools you are giving of course the choice on which drive(s) to scan and also what files and folders to skip if you do so wish.
This is true with the registry cleaner and the start-up and auto run managers.
The program also contains many handy features such as a memory optimizer, windows optimizer, system information, files and folders information a system analyser. This program also contains a very good privacy and security system which would be to track your (or someone else’s) internet browsing history.
Another feature that I like with ASO is it has a very large section dedicated to getting rid of junk and duplicate files and can also repair corrupted files.
The backup and restore feature of this program is very easy to use as well.
I really am impressed by this program and would recommend most people to keep an eye out for it.
PC Doc Pro 3.5
This is only a very small trial version and knowing this fact it is still very hard to imagine this program being anything but lacking as a full version.
The only real feature that this demo version has is a very small scanning function which only repairs a certain amount of files at any one time I do believe that with this version you can only fix the first 5 errors on your pc , this computer itself still had 1280 errors left to fix.
As I said this demo program left me feeling that even the full version would be very unworthy.
Fresh diagnose
This is another wonderful little program it gives the user all the information about pretty much 99% of the computer. Everything from the colour of your titles bars to the every details of your ODBC drivers. From the install of this program everything is free apart from the benchmarking they offer but you can register for free to use them.
You can even have the program give you a report about your total system. Even the text on the error reports are seriously but still contain a little bit of humour.
Pc Doctor.
This program is pretty decent it can clear your cache and speed up your internet browsing quite significantly. It isn’t as detailed as other program but I guess it might be better for people who don’t need to read every little bit of info on their pc.
The cleaner and backup systems work as soon as you go through start-up. Easy to use menu, good looking too.
WinXP Manager
This program is pretty excellent too. You do only have a 15 day trial version, yet I would say this program would be worth paying for. The system information it gives you is very detailed and is easy to understand.
The Process Manager is great, very detailed and has many handy options, it can give you all the details on every or a single process. It shows you the priority, the execute path the user and the security. It also shows the PID but I don’t know what that is.
It also allows you to set
The optimization process is very easy to use and understand bubbling down to pretty much clicking on things you want to do, like get rid of junk files. It then shows you all the programs that have been unused for ages and lets you get rid of programs you don’t want. It then takes you to a start up manager, registry manager and finally and registry cleaners.
Also contains general cleaners and customizations features as well as some basic security and network options

Um, Online game much?
However.
Whilst nearly buying a new wow time card and reawakening the wow nerd within me. I got into a conversation with one of the EB employees about how his boss was invited to play test a new MMORPG, Warhammer Online. Age of Reckoning or just WAR. He told me that his boss up until the Beta invite for WAR was a massive wow nerd, level 70's for each class, fully epic gear blah blah blah, but when he started playing WAR he was fully blown away about how childish wow looks in comparison not just graphical but apparently everything that wow does war does ten times better.
At this statement I was a little bit skeptical but then I read up a little bit and went over the few small years of when I was interested in the Warhammer franchise.
Firstly I already know how huge Warhammer is and I would safely say that there would be a few million subscribers just joining for their love of all things warhammer-ry.
Also for the people whom say that there are too few class's avalanche in wow they will be happy to learn that there are at least 5 class for each race and there are apparently there are at least 3 races for each army.
PVP is meant to be much bigger in WAR and actually decide events in real time, like storming a enemy's castle or raiding a port.
When I think of wow I tend to think of massive griding marathons which bore me to tears.
In war apparently they want to try and rid the game of as much unnecessary grinding as possible. So as I just mentioned the pvp aspect will not just be for honor badges or points, it could be for new territory , siege weapons, mounts, and of course quests. With this said the pvp aspect of war seems much more inviting than wow.
Also in wow it kind of annoyed me that there was very little collision detection.
Warhammer Online features collision detection, a feature that is meant to stop players from moving through other player characters. So this will enhances the role played by heavily armored characters because it helps them become far more efficient at holding choke points and protecting weaker players in their group such as healers and casters which would be a very welcome feature in wow. For me at least.
Yet the biggest , interesting feature is that the game seems to promise itself on being about nothing but combat with the enemy, none of this “I'm going to grind the same 8 hour raid for months so I can finally get my epic weapon/gear so I can just use it in boring auto combat just like I was doing 40 levels ago for exactly the same reason and to use it in a imaginary war that we never fight and the enemy never actually does anything against us”, stance that wow does.
However saying that I guess it comes down to the fact that while wow is really nothing new in terms of game play at all it does have a certain charm to it. I must say that I have played a fair few computer games and a few of them have been mmorpg's nothing has touched wow on terms of epicness and nothing has kept me playing for longer.
Blah blah
losing track,
brain shuting down
11:30 pm
wake up time at 7 30 am
OK
My final thoughts about how WAR could dethrone WoW.
Realm vs Realm Combat.
Very few quests involving non combat with your racial/army enemy.
Much larger interactive storyline. WAR defienlty will have a much larger scale to it story wise.
(Think of the amount of fanboys just waiting to get into this game).
Characters and class's will be much more customizable (think of wearing a skull of your slaughtered enemies as a trophy, as said before all the class will be about combat even the support class's(think warrior priests)
More To come with this I guess, my brain has left me.
Sorry for the horrible grammar and spelling.

HATE
RIGHT NOW I AM REALLY ANGRY AND SHOUTING IN MY BRAIN.
Ok so I now have just another bloody chapter in my saga of buying a mp3 player, which for most people would be a pretty easy thing to do, easy for everyone APART from me.!!! Let me explain,
Right so on last Friday (4th) I went into town with the idea of looking to buy a player. So in I go into the first store which was JB HI FI and went straight to the mp3 player section where I saw the generic stock of Ipods which ive never really wanted, some other microscopic players which are just stupid and some decent players mainly the Iriver e100 and the Creative Zen.
However at the this time I was pretty certain I was going to get the E100 4 gig model, so I ask Mr JB HI FI man to see if I could have a look at the 4 gig one and he said, after searching ONE cabinet for 20 MINUTES, he returned to me and said in a heavy Australian bloke accent "Naaaah sorry mate , looks like we don't have any mate, sorry about that mate"," We only have the 2 and 8 gig models at the moment cobber" , to this my reply was just simply Ok fair enough, with a slight frown.
I went home to cry.
On Sunday I decided to ring the store to see if I could put on hold one of the 8 gig models , however the evil little bastards at JB HI FI decided otherwise, I spoke to 3 people in the one call, one told me that she didn't have any in stock at the current moment in time, but she gave me to someone else after I told her what I was told on Friday. The second person I spoke to said to me that he only had to 2 gig models in stock, which to that reply I also said that I was told that both the 2 & 8 gig models were still available on Friday, so he handed me yet other guy who was the Big Boss of the Electronic dep and he said finally that there were actually none of any of the models and that they haven't had any in of any model for roughly 2 weeks.!! So I 4 people all gave me totally wrong info, as if none of them would actually check with the Boss! So anyway, the Boss told me that a shipment of all the models should be in Wednesday so I should come in then. I said thanks and hung up
I went to my room and cried.
So Wednesday comes and I'm happy that I might be able to buy a gosh darn player!!!
BUT once again I get there and the original guy who served on the 4th helped me once again , by spend another 10 minutes searching a empty cabinet and to my shock he told me that there were still none. He also said, again that there should be more in soon. So once again I said ok.
I went to Donut King and got a Chocolate Thickshake to try and hide my tears.
Yet there was still hope left in the day! Jethro suggested that I just ask to buy the demo model. So I did and I got a whole 10$. At first I turned down the 3 year warranty, which was stupid because 10 minutes after I bought it i realized that I should have taken it , what can I say I'm not very smart. So I go back and get the warranty. Happy as can be I went home.
TO DISCOVER REAL HORROR!
After a few minutes charging I went up to an old mates place to make use of his cd drive (my dvd drive is waiting to be replaced atm , old story)....But I slowly realize just how slow his computer is and spent maybe two hours just waiting for about 5 tracks to copy to the computer and install iriver+3 which required a reboot which took about 5 mins shutting down and booting back up!!!Up grading the firmware took most of the 2 hours time..Bad bad times. I didn't get a single song on there either :(
So I get home and I download the iriver+3 software which all worked fine until.....after several hours of working without any problems whatsoever It decides that when I try to turn it back on AND AND AND WHAT DOES IT DO..........................
GETS TO THE LOADING LOGO AND DOESNT DO ANYTHING AT ALL IT WON"T EVEN TURN OFF!!!!!!!!!!!. ......It just hangs there doing nothing at all. Even after several hits of the reset button and holding in every single combination of buttons. Its been like this for since about 6pm , (Time of writing this ,12:24 am) Odin only knows how long the battery life has left in it! my guess a few days!!
Well then tomorrow I'm storming into JB HI FI with my warranty and will kindly ask for a brand new one. May Thor have mercy on them if I have to wait more than a week or two at max for it , because apparently there is still that new shipment on its way.
RANT RANT RANT
